Dr. Tressa Malikkal is a highly experienced optometrist and the Clinical Director of Vision and Learning Center, where she specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of vision-related learning and functional visual disorders. With over two decades of clinical experience, Dr. Malikkal focuses on binocular vision, eye teaming, focusing, eye movement, and visual processing skills that are essential for reading, learning, and daily performance.
She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry and completed a residency in Binocular Vision and Vision Therapy at SUNY College of Optometry. She is also a Fellow of the Optometric Vision Development & Rehabilitation Association (ODVRA), reflecting advanced expertise in developmental and rehabilitative vision care.
Dr. Malikkal has extensive experience working with children and adults with learning-related vision problems, concussion-related vision issues, and other functional visual challenges. She is passionate about helping patients reach their full potential through personalized, evidence-based vision therapy and comprehensive care.
