Betsy Martinez
Vision Therapist
Betsy Martinez has been a valued member of the Vision and Learning Center team since 2010. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Lesley University and brings prior experience as an elementary school teacher to her work.
Betsy is dedicated to creating a positive, supportive environment for every patient. She takes pride in building meaningful connections while helping individuals of all ages strengthen their visual skills. Her compassionate approach and enthusiasm make vision therapy a truly rewarding experience for both her and her patients.
Outside the office, Betsy enjoys spending time in nature—especially hiking, kayaking, and gardening—as well as making memories with her family.
Scarlet Flecken
Vision Therapist
Scarlet joined the Vision and Learning Center with a background in esthetics and more than ten years of experience working closely with clients. She completed a 2.5-year esthetics program in Pamplona, Spain, graduating in 2010, where she studied facial anatomy and developed hands-on therapeutic skills.
Her training and experience helped her develop an appreciation for how the eyes, facial muscles, and nervous system work together. Scarlet enjoys guiding patients through vision therapy and helping them strengthen their visual skills. She is bilingual and enjoys connecting with patients from a variety of backgrounds. She is currently continuing her education and working toward a degree in Global Studies.
Outside of work, Scarlet enjoys spending time in nature with her husband and two dogs.
